Service Operation processes are important because they enable organizations to correctly perform, manage, and control their day-to-day operations. This course examines the Service Operation processes within the ITIL® Service Lifecycle, including Incident Management and Problem Management, as well as Event, Request, and Access Management.

OBJECTIVE

This course examines the Service Operation processes within the ITIL® Service Lifecycle. This course will assist the learner in preparing for the ITIL® Foundation certification examination and is aligned with the ITIL® Foundation Syllabus.

UGC (University Grants Commission), the higher education authority, has asked around 123 deemed-to-be Universities to remove the word ‘University’ from their names. This news came in when a letter dated 10th November by UGC suggested dropping the name for such institutes. 12 stand-alone institutions to get University status | DLP India

The University Grants Commission (UGC) has published a notice and sent to 12 stand-alone institutions to get them converted as a university or deemed to be University if they are willing to offer programs through Distance and Online Mode. However in recent  Supreme Court order  also states that Deemed to be Universities are not allowed to run Distance Learning Course from 2018-2019. Moreover Deemed Universities have been asked to remove the “University” within one month of issuance of the order. UGC has made amendments in the Open and Distance Learning Regulations, 2017 asking Stand-alone institutions offering Certificate, Diploma or PG Diploma to get themselves recognized as per new rules.
